Less than 200 m to the north of Brisbane there is a small island. Fraser island status as the largest sand island in the world is automatically granted the dream of the visitors who expect to enjoy a wide and beautiful beaches while visiting the place. Sand beaches of this island is also known as the whitest sand and the cleanest in the world. Indeed, the beach is very wide island jutting into the sea, and you can easily find a place to play in the water very private person. To reach the island you have to cross the sea Fraser briefly with a ferry. With a four-wheeled vehicles like golf carts can be hired there, you can either explore the island with cool. When it came time to rest, just put a tent on the beach, or stay at one resort island. Fraser Island beaches are beautiful, and if you want ‘free from salt water’, you can turn themselves in to one of Fraser Island lakes where the water is very clean.

Bring food from Brisbane if you intend to camp on the island, because the food is only available in hotels and resorts. A restaurant called The Maheno is located next to the swimming pool Kingfisher Bay Resort, famous for their delicious Seafood Buffet!

If you are a little afraid of camping in the area is also inhabited by a fairly famous dingo, just checking in to Kingfisher Bay Resort, the rooms are all guaranteed to have magnificent views overlooking the lake and forest. If you stay there, you are also given a whale watching experience (see whale) and hiking for free!
